Youth Choir
For 13-18 year olds. Open to anyone who has a keen musical interest and who wants to develop their voice.
We promote a social environment, which is both supportive and challenging and where many different styles of music can be explored and embraced.
The range of music covered includes Traditional, Beat box, Classical, Afro-Caribbean, World Music and Crossover.
We provide a much needed opportunity for teenagers who want to develop their singing, as well as exploring new musical ideas and pushing their musical boundaries.
Further tuition in the rudiments of music, understanding composition techniques and sight-reading skills are developed and used to help with freedom of expression through music. Some members may also use this as a catalyst to creating their own music.
Workshop leaders who are nationally recognised will also be invited to give specialist training in some of these areas. Rehearsals are based in Great Missenden, Bucks.
